Merry Christmas to all our POTCAKE people! I’ll be taking next week off from the blog. See you again soon Jan. 3rd. Thanks to everyone following our blog, and I hope you all have a great Christmas and a wonderful New Year!
Scott, Kristin, Mako, & Trouble Mac D
Our Flickr group Barnacle Hounds is growing. We just hit 150 photos. I want to thank the members that have sent in there shots. If you would like to add any pics of your salty dogs living that salt life send them over via your flickr account. I always love to see what shows up.
These two know how to enjoy a snow day!
Last night there was a total lunar eclipse. Mako & I set the alarm, with hopes of seeing a great show in the sky. It was a beautiful night, and the show was awesome. I set up the tripod in hopes of catching a descent pic of the event. Here’s one of the good shots I was able to capture.
We have had a great holiday season. Lot’s of dogs rockin’ their POTCAKE this Christmas. Our Santa NOEL print collar and bandana are almost sold out. Monday (today) is the last day to get your order in if you want to receive your POTCAKE shipment in before Christmas. So place your order in time to make it on the last truck or plane out. We ship USPS Priority mail. They say 2-3 days, but that doesn’t exactly apply this week.
I feature a fishing vid every Friday. This week Oranse, one of my personal friends, posted an oldie, but a goodie.
Capt. Jeff and I went down to Tropic Star, at Pinas Bay Panama, and I got this beauty of a sailfish. This is a Pacific Sailfish. It’s a nice one. So enjoy a quick clip from that day on one of their 31′ Betrams.
Enjoy this week’s Friday Fishing Vid, brought to you every Friday by POTCAKEcollars.
Have a great weekend!!! and be sure to get out on the water…
bring your dog too… and make sure your dog’s rockin’ their POTCAKE …
POTCAKE would like to take this opportunity to thank our troops serving around the world. Because of what they do, we are able to enjoy this Christmas and holiday season. Take a minute to watch this piece ” A Soldier’s Silent Night “
Wish a soldier a Merry Christmas this holiday season.
Our holiday vid was a little stressful to shoot, but was a blast. I’d like to thank Chip from Betterduck studios for doing a great job with the vid. Here are a few behind the scenes pics from our day of shooting at the beach.
and here is another look at the finished vid.
The big day is getting close. Nine days and counting by my estimate. We are bracing for a serious cold front down here in south Fla. The forecast is calling for a low of 32 degrees tonight. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for my palm trees. They had alot of damage last year during our frigid winter. I am hoping for the best. In the mean time I can’t help but thank my lucky stars that Mako and Trouble (and Kristin & I) don’t have to deal with the white stuff. It sure looks like this dog enjoys it though.
Saturday night was Cookie night. Right before Christmas we have friends over to bake a whole mess of assorted cookies. It’s always a hit. Kristin is definitely the hostess with the mostess. She loves a reason to have a get together. The dogs and kids have a blast as well.
My main man Jackson is the kid dog whisperer. He worked his magic on Trouble Mac D.
We broke open a can of instant snow and made a snowman.
Miss Bear made an appearance too.
